The Staypuppy moniker is and was an homage to the Border Collie, Alex, who was an important part of our family starting about the time we needed to come up with a domain name. He and Harvey, our Australian Shepherd, were our children before we had children. They both left this world having made us better people and better prepared for the challenge of parenthood that lies ahead.

We (Amy and Drew) have been together since 2001 and happily married since 2003. We have had successful careers and have gone on many fantastic vacations together, but from the beginning we both were in agreement that what we really wanted was to be parents. For years, nature didn’t take its course so we turned to science and Jack and Sarah joined our family on July 2, 2009. We couldn’t be more sleep deprived... I mean excited.
